Tips and Tricks: how to monitor you status with Hictu
In the current online version of Hictu you can’t see dynamic information about your status. You can insert your IDs for several different services as Skype, MSN, Yahoo!, AIM, ICQ, Abbeyphone, etc, but you can’t see what the other users that have you in their contact list can see about you.
Well, actually you can, with a simple trick: just invite yourself. Go to Add Contacts and insert your nickname in the “Add by nickname” edit box. Click “Add” with “Invite now” enabled, and you’ll see an incoming invite in “Privacy”.
Go to “Privacy” and authorize your authorization request: now you can see yourself in the contact list.
