Using the Gizmo client with Hictu
You’ve read some week ago that Hictu makes available to users a new icon for their Gizmo account. The status provided by the Gizmo client is shown in the presence-enabled contact list.
If you want, you can decide to open your Gizmo client when a click on a Gizmo icon is issued.
To do so, just download this file: gizmo.reg, and:
1) Open it with a text editor.
2) Replace “< path >” with the Gizmo client executable path. (Example: replace “< path >” with “C:\\Programs\\Gizmo Project\\Gizmo.exe” (you must duplicate the slash “\”))
3) Save the modified file gizmo.reg.
4) Double click on gizmo.reg.
This will configure your PC to open your Gizmo client when you want to communicate with a contact on your contact list through Gizmo.
