Adding contacts on your Hictu! contact list
As who knows Hictu! may understand, adding contacts in your Hictu! contact list is one of the most important tools available to users.
The import process is easy: you just need to export your address book from an email client (Outlook, Thunderbird) in CSV format, and upload the CSV file in the “Add Contact” section.
But if you want you can also add singular contacts: all you have to do is insert an email address in the “Add Contacts” section, “Add by email” box. If you check the “Add to Hictu! and send invitation now” and click on “Add to Hictu!” button, the email address is added to you contact list and an invitation email is automatically sent to that address.
In this way the contact you are inserting in your contact list can grant you authorization to see her status.
If the contact you are just added is a Hictu! user, then you see her Hictu! nickname in the contact list, and when she grants you authorization, you see her presence status, with a collection of icon describing her status in each presence and communication service.
Soon, Hictu! users will import also their GMail contact list: stay tuned for the latest news.
