Depuis que Hictu c’est devenu plus … sociale, beaucoup de gens sont en train de participer à bâtir cette nouvelle et excitante communauté. A brand new Hictu is available today!You can publish small posts that can be read by a large community of people or just by your contacts. All you have to do is sign in with your account, select Public Posts or Private Posts and write everything is in your mind.
Public posts are viewable by anyone visiting Hictu, while Private Posts will be accessible only to users already included in your contact list.
You will experience a new way to socialize, share your thoughts, your favorite links, meet new people: just follow the posts flow and select new friends to be added to your contact list. It’s easy, it’s funny, and you will discover how useful it is too.

Quali sono le novità?
- Puoi aggiungere un insieme di contatti semplicemente inserendo una lista di indirizzi email o nickname separati da virgole.
- Il Badge per le tue pagine personali e la firma email è personalizzabile.
- L´immagine personale che hai scelto viene mostrata nella pagina Contatti.
- Un clic sull´icona Skype richiama l´azione predefinita sul client (chiamata, chat).
- E’ ancora più facile invitare i tuoi contatti.
- Hictu è da oggi anche in italiano! Benvenuti!

What’s new?
- You can add a list of contacts just inserting a list of comma separated email addresses or nicknames.
- The Badge for your personal pages and email signature is customizable.
- The personal image you choose is displayed in the Contacts page.
- Now if you click on the Skype icon, the default action (call, chat) is called.
- Inviting your contacts is easier.
- Hictu is also in Italian! Welcome to all Italian users: Benvenuti!

La présence sur Internet me semble être un élément clé des solutions en ligne. Il faudrait mieux l’intégrer afin d’améliorer la collaboration, la communication. Les aggrégateurs de messageries instantanées comme Trillian, Wengo, Meebo ne me conviennent pas car j’ai des contacts redondants ou du moins ces contacts sont accessibles au travers de différentes messageries instantanées, service de voip.

Hictu tente de répondre à ce besoin. L’utilisateur est au centre de sa présence. Hictu est un outil Web pour partager l’information de présence avec ses contacts qu’ils soient sous MSN, Skype, ICQ, AIM, Yahoo!, Jabber, GTalk, ou encore Gizmo.

Following the great success Hictu is having in the Internet community, we have released a new version (Beta 0.4). The main goals were two: fix some minor errors and improve the user experience.
What’s new?
- The Logo and the Home Page have been redesigned to give a fresher look.
- Users can import their MSN contact lists, together with their Outlook and Thunderbird address books.
- The “Add Contacts” session has been improved and it is now more interactive.
- The Authorization Mechanism is easier.
- More feedback for the user actions is available.
- The FAQ session has been reviewed, enriched and it’s now more efficient.
- A new session has been added: “Invites”. Here you can monitor and manage all the incoming invites.
- Personal images are displayed also in the main contact list view.
Coming soon:
- A Java client for Nokia S60 phones.
- A Gadget for Google Desktop and Google Start Page.
